How a swap works
Five stamps from your shelf to theirs.
Every swap on Mianka follows the same short path. Nothing moves until both of you have agreed.
Add the books you've finished. Put the ones you want on your wishlist so readers who have them can tell you.
Browse what readers across your city have on their shelves and send a swap request.
Settle which books each of you sends and how they travel. Accept, decline or suggest a change.
Hand the books over at a metro station you both pick or post them locker to locker with InPost.
Rate each other once the books arrive. Ratings are how trust works on Mianka.
Option one
Meet at a metro station you both pick.
- Busy, public and easy for both of you to reach.
- Keep the plan in the chat so there is a record.
- You see the book before anything else changes hands.
Option two
Or send it locker to locker.
- Labels come straight from InPost. Every label is bought before any book moves.
- You get 48 hours to drop off once the labels are bought.
- The reader with the weaker record drops off first.
